Filebot permissions issue
Description of Bug
Filebot is initially installed into a home directory, then has a symlink added to /usr/local/bin. For other users to access it, the home directory and the .filebot directory needs additional permissions, otherwise people will get "command not found" when trying to use it.
What is the current bug behavior?
When the admin installs filebot, other users cannot use it because of permissions and it's location.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Other users of QB should be able to use filebot
Steps to reproduce
- Install filebot as Admin
- Try to run filebot as a Secondary user (either through ssh, or more commonly done as an after trigger in one of the torrent clients).
Additional Information
I gave the home directory it was installed in the global +x permission, and made everything in .filebot 777. Started to work for others then. Alternatively, I could have moved the .filebot folder from /home/owner to somewhere else, and updated the symlink in /usr/local/bin to point to the new location.
